School Education Department

Our team organized a series of impactful meetings for the State Government’s School Department, led by the Honourable School Education Minister. These meetings were held in several countries to explore opportunities for educational collaboration:

  • Denmark (May 2024): Ministry of Higher Education

  • Sweden (May 2024): Provincial School Department’s Language Education Centre

  • Norway (May 2024): Teaching Faculty of Western Norway University of Applied Sciences

  • France (October 2024): Dassault Systèmes

These discussions aim to build stronger international partnerships, enhancing the educational frameworks in Tamil Nadu through global best practices.

Team members from Mullai Academia recently had an engaging discussion with the Director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC), Chennai, as part of our ongoing efforts to build meaningful international relationships.

Whether in their offices in Chennai or Delhi, Taiwanese officials consistently emphasize a core value deeply rooted in their culture: “Education is Important.” This aligns closely with the Tamil Nadu government’s vision of “Empowerment through Education.”

This shared belief continues to energize and inspire our team. Collaborating with partners who value education as a pathway to progress reinforces our mission and contributes to the ongoing success of both regions.

Fostering Cultural and Educational Collaboration: Mullai Academia Visits the
Embassy of Honduras in Berlin

Team members from Mullai Academia had the privilege of meeting with the Ambassador of Honduras to Germany, Honorable Mauricio Arturo Bueso Chinchilla, and Counsellor Ms. Karla María Lagos Martínez at the Embassy of Honduras in Berlin, Germany. The discussion focused on potential avenues for collaboration between India and Honduras in the areas of culture, history, and education.

Strengthening Indo-Japan Collaboration: Discussion on Scholarship Opportunities
under the Sakura Science Program

On 10th January, a meeting was held at the Naan Mudhalvan office to discuss Indo-Japan collaboration for graduate scholarships. The event was attended by Prof. Takashi Konishi, Director of the Sakura Science Program at JST, Prof. Ganesh Pandian Namasivayam from Kyoto University, and other key Japanese delegates, alongside Ms. Innocent Divya, IAS, Managing Director of Naan Mudhalvan.

The discussion centered around the “India Young Researchers Invitation Program”, which aims to foster research collaboration between India and Japan in science and technology. This initiative is expected to open new opportunities for Indian graduates in cutting-edge research fields.
